Have a Vision

Wow, being an entrepreneur is an interesting journey. What I've learned so far this year is that we can create miracles as well as attract miracles and who doesn't want a few of those in their life? I am so fortunate to have found the business that has brought me the opportunity to be challenged and rewarded at the same time. What it all boils down to is I must have a vision. Without a vision, it would be so easy to give up and just quit. But what would that say to my husband, my kids, my friends, and myself? If we all gave up when things got a little tough we wouldn't have computers, airplanes, cars, the internet, cell phones,_____(insert whatever you can't live without here). With that being said, it's the challenges in life that make it most interesting and our successes most rewarding.

A New Beginning

I am so excited to begin a new year, not to mention a new decade. 2009 was an interesting time for so many of us that gave me a whole new appreciation for what it means to hold on tight to your dreams. Let's just say it wasn't a fabulous year for most of us, but it sure gave me the kick in the rear I needed to remember that once upon a time I had a successful career and why can't I put my skills to use again? What I have learned is that sometimes we need to reinvent ourselves and adapt with the changing environment and economy. Why couldn't I put many of the skills I still have to use to once again achieve my financial goals? Just because I stopped contributing financially while I began raising my two beautiful children, I never stopped thinking about how I might jump back into a lucrative career path. I should probably add that I was also carrying the weight of nearly all of the domestic responsibilities of our household that often go unnoticed and certainly unpaid, which makes one wonder where do I go from here? Well, I found FHTM or it found me is more like it. In this business, we not only get to experience financial rewards for our hard work, but we also get to be part of something exciting and extremely positive.
2010 is the real beginning of the new me. I embrace the possibilities that lie ahead, the new relationships I will have, and the renewal of energy that comes with all of the above.
